And so I have to say….
yes, somebody sneaked into my heart recently. Geez.
Feeling a tad bizarre but nice at the start given that I am quite used to enjoying my time alone and girlfriends for the past two years.
You might have already seen his (hurhur's) pictures in the previous few posts, and its cute how a couple of friends came asking me about it,
and good friends like Shing was absolutely sweet to go awww for me. And yes, my dear friend Shing is getting married September this year,
and im totally exhilarated for her! She's the first closer friend of mine to get hitched and congrats Shingie!! <3
Hurhur and I have been dating since a few months ago and it was official only about a month ago.
Oh yeah, in case you are wondering too, my friend came asking me how come hurhur and i actually went overseas within the short span of time.
Hahaha come to think of it, i supposed its kinda unusual and quite a leap to be travelling with someone new so fast,
but in actual fact, the trip was actually a so called family cum work trip, not in particularly for a holiday though pictures might portray the case,
as I was needed to help out my aunt with her business overseas.
And so hurhur was on leave during this period, and off we went!
I wish to tell you more on how we met, and how did it go..
there is a lil story behind it, but i guess i'll leave it to the next time, maybe.
A bit more on the trip!
Aunt figured out that we should take a look at Macau and Zhu Hai rather than just bumming around Hong Kong!
This was at a restaurant situated in the shopping mall at the ferry terminal, and boy, the portuguese egg tarts is HEAVENLY!!!
I have never eaten such delectable egg tarts in my life.. ok, sounds a lil extreme huh. :p
Perfect breakfast set when you are in Macau.
As you might know, Macau is famous for its portuguese egg tarts and pork bun (Zhu rou bao)!
The next thing to try in Macau.
i didn't really like this, kinda dry for my liking.
And so, off we went for the ferry to Macau!
Bought VIVI japanese magazine from the terminal and it costs way cheaper than you get it from Sg!
I bought it in Sg before and it costs $9, whereas at hongkong, it's only sgd $4!
Wore my new camel brown jacket that i got from a random store in hongkong!
Here's how the seating area of the ferry looks like.
Cab fares were rather reasonable in Macau and Hong Kong, and a distance from the terminal to our hotel- Rio Hotel costs sgd $4 only!
Beamommy stayed at this hotel before and recommended it for a decent stay so as to say.
Hurhur and myself.
Here's my superwoman aunt!
After unloading the items, luggages at the hotel, we went for some shopping,
and the next thing to buy is Ba Gua. Im amazed that they have beef ba gua and shan zhu rou ba gua. Interesting!
Tasting it.
beadaddy and his cool pose.
Met my aunt's friend, and finally it was lunch and distributing of ba guas, heh.
Not near my list of recommendations, would rather try out roadside stalls!
Guess its courtesy to have some food at somewhere nicer given that my aunt meets the friend once in a long while.
More on the rest of the hongkong places to be up soon again, cuz i took gazillion pictures!

Back to Singapore, here another place that I would like to share with you!
Not one of the places to have a hearty meal but its one place for afternoon chill outs (high tea, if you wish to put it in a nicer way heh),
with absolutely light bites or tapaz food. (yes portion was pretty small)
Wore my new dress specially given as a gift by Eileen, with courtesy of popcherrycrush!
Love all the colours that she has chosen for this specially manufactured piece she did,
and as you can see, i didnt have accessories on myself yet its good to go looking slightly dressier with the design.
That's what i love about these dresses..
oh yess!! i love the big bow at the back too, uniquely cutesy. teehee. That's eileen in her second manufactured design.
i always knew she has a thing for fashion after knowing her for a couple of years during uni.
She has a great taste in fashion (well, by looking at how she dresses to school!), and very subtle elegance yet not too extreme, i must say.
And so the new place that i recently went after hearing how much Applepie raved about it,
is this lil restaurant/cafe hidden right in the departmental store at takashimaya.
The location of this is a lil weird, its kinda like in the middle of the bags, shoes etc, and suddenly there is this cafe at the corner.
I guess the target audience would be those tai tais who are resting their feet or for those office people for teabreaks! ;p
Menu is super dorothy. i like the word dorothy.
More pictures of us!
The beautiful cake selection.
This other dress rocks too!
We got a "majesty" set for two, so as they called it, supposedly making you feel like a pampered princess.
Menu said that it consists of two sandwiches, and these are the two!
Extremely small portion i would say, you can eat it by just popping the whole thing into your mouth!
Not recommended if you are real hungry and seeking for a good full meal.
Scones, well, in my opinion, could have been better!
The cheesecake was good though, do give it a try for desserts!
The place, as you can see, all indo-chinese tai tais.
And here's the dress that eileen was wearing, i own one too! Thank you popcherrycrush! hehe.
You are in a treat! Eileen told me you readers get 50% off from any item at "what's available"!, just quote my "Beatrice"!
