A lil backdated but here was how i spent my vday or rather, our first valentines together.

I was supposed to plan the afternoon itinerary, and which i did.
But unfortunately, I had some errands to run which ended a tad later than the stipulated time but the place couldn't wait. ;(
Still, afternoon was kept simple chillin out with a few finger food and a teevee, and off we went for the night plans planned by hurhur.

Not a fan of flowers at all, and yes, Hurhur is aware of it.
Instead, he gave a sweet surprise by making a reservation at the crowd-pleasing Michelangelo's @ Chip Bees Gardens in the early evening for us to spend the night away at.
Not really one for walk-ins on this occasion (cuz i saw quite a few being turned away), so glad that he made an early booking!

One thing that allows us to spend the simple night comfortably on this couple-filled occasion would definitely be the unpretentious atmosphere of the place.
Love it that the place was decorated with romantic lights and sprinkled with rose petals,
but yet at the same time, not too overly done with the whole decor and service.

Starter's dips.

Thought that it would be a huge bomb, given that it's a special occasion,
but I would say the Valentine's set menu was quite a catch!

I was not exactly very hungry to begin with, but I have to praise the quality and taste of the starters and desserts.
This one below, is absolutely a must have.

Sad to say, the mains were kinda disappointing.
The taste was rather bland, and the sides were much better tasting than the mains. ;(
