Extremely swarmed by work this week,
but I am going to take some time out for a mega entry with massive peeks,
so do wait for them to load!
It's the peak season in school
with project meetings till late,
but the good thing is that you see familiar faces around because its the same for everyone in NUS too.
It's Wednesday and the mid-week already,
so hang in there folks!
Like what poots and the rest always say,
the weekends are the ones that keep us going forward,
and the awesome company that keeps us sane.

Did a TVC for Bio-essence BB cream back then when i just came back from Taiwan,
and it's now live on air!
Am excited to see it and has been told by the in-charge that it will be showing on Channel 8 & U at night,
but I haven had the chance to sit down and catch a glimpse of it yet.
Finally I can share the excitement with you guys
since it was officially out a couple of days ago,
and here are the many behind the scenes pictures
which HuiHui (From Bio-essence) snapped throughout the shoot!
In chronological order,
here are the happenings of that very day which started as early as 7am.
For their platinum BB 'shuang'.
Make up(s) for the day.
Met Renee, the make up artist. during the shoot for the first time,
and its the second time we met for the filming.
Love her make up skills and my two favourite makeup artists whom I have known till date,
are actually Renee and this lady called May Pan.
Awesome ones, and definitely making you gorgeous after that! :p
With the super duper late nights' sleep in Taiwan just before the filming,
im glad she managed to cover my dark circles with the BB cream, heh.
Going nudeeeeeee.
Main outfit (the one in front) for the filming,
and the picture on the right is actually a hairstyle that we were trying for one of the scenes for the shoot.
But as my fringe was of a length that was neither too short nor too long,
the in-charge decided that its best to cut it so as to tidy the hair up.
And then i discovered that Renee who is a make up artist,
is secretly a hair stylist too. hehehe. :p
In the midst of having a new hairstyle..
Finally done!
A bun-up hair for the middle scenes.
We tried a different hair for the start and the end of the scenes,
and this is how the styling was.
I like the simple and not too extravagant falsies.
Touching up.
And guess what's this?!
Haha i am super amazed by this thingy.
Renee said its from Japan and it supposedly helps to puff up the hair
and acts like fake hair.
Its kinda plastic-y in real touch, and imagine the "sizz sizz" sound of it.
The hair looks kinda flat on screen,
so the plastic hair would do the trick!
Goofing around!
So this is the final outlook for the main scenes.
ON SET.
The crew getting ready..
Within a wink…
And the shoot begins..
The director, Sherwin, is one whom i am glad to have met.
He's is really friendly and patient in directing the shoot,
and another great trait of his is that, he is very encouraging indeed.
The end of the first part of the shoot,
and this took about 2 hours.
Moving on to the next…
Where you have to emerge out gradually with a mask. :p
My fringe got flat as time goes by,
and hahahaha spot the red roller under my fringe..
More pictures..
And…
DONE!
Teehee, Here's the official final TVC for Bio-Essence Platinum BB Cream!
YES, in case you are wondering,
its not my voice but some DJ from 9.33 FM!
Quite a few of my friends who talked to me often find it weird at the lip-sync part,
hahahah well….
Anyway, of course, thanks to the dedicated crew behind the scenes,
and the bio-essence team for the possible experience.
Definitely a great bunch of people!
kudos to their hardwork and magical beans to make the tvc looks amazing.

And guess what's in the mailbox recently?

and what more, enjoy buffet! :p
Not just the girlie frocks, but a classic black one that can never go wrong.
Thank you Angelicobebe!

Wait, the post doesn't stop here.
Here's something exciting lined up for you,
and not to forget, if you managed to catch it,
it was in the papers – The Straits Time Urban, recently!
Well, it says..She shops at Sheshops!
Do you love buying fashion magazines like Nylon, Vivi etc?
Or visiting fashion portals like justjared, people.com or New York fashion?
Well, personally I’m always reading these sites and the fashion outfits are to-die-for!
But unfortunately, a lot of the outfits and designer clothes are only available overseas,
which makes it kind of a hassle to shop for them.
Furthermore, when I spot items that I really like on different portals,
it kills me to know that I have no idea what label it is or where it is from!
And that means I’m just looking at a dream …
So, that’s why this new site is so interesting … (CLICK ON THE LOGO TO ENTER!)
Sheshops.com is actually an online portal created by our own well-known SPH Magazines
(the guys who publish Her World, Female, Simply Her and heaps of other great magazines right
here in Singapore), and they have come up with a very exciting and interesting concept for this new site!
I bet there is a love for fashion in every girl’s heart,
and no matter what kind of style an individual has,
she will definitely seek outfits that are related to her own personal style.
And now there’s this portal; it’s a total fashionguru
which aims to provide fashion inspiration just for you!
You can actually find fashion tips on the Lookbooks
(by seeing how people match up outfits and accessories in a picture collage) o
r look at what an individual (eg. Your friend) has in their wardrobe.
It’s totally just like a fashion magazine online!
Love your friends’ styles?
Get your friends to create an account with SheShops.com too,
and just like with Facebook, you can add friends and write comments on their wall etc.
But the unique thing with this site is when you visit your friend’s page,
what you see on their homepage is the showcasing of the items they
actually have in their respective wardrobes to share with you.
You can also see the Lookbooks they have created
and get some tips from their own styling too.
And what’s even better is that you get to see all the
different kinds of outfits and clothes and accessories
that your friend owns, and also,
find out where and how much your friend got it for!
So say no more to dreams or far away outfits that never seem to become real.
Here are some pictures to better illustrate what happens on this website!
1. My Personal Account
This is the personal account that I created for myself and as you can see,
just like Facebook, I added a new friend there today.
Guys can feel free to share their styles too!
2) Updating your particulars
There is a main page where you can put up information about yourself,
and you can see your friends’ information too.
3. Closet
Looking at the tab above, you can see Closet, Lookbook and Wall.
The closet contains basically all the items that have been uploaded by the owner to share!
Woohoo!
4. Lookbook
I have personally created one Lookbook so far,
showing how I would like to match the whole set of an outfit.
I am quite a fan of beaches and all, so here’s that one!
The weekend bali style!
And guess what? Coolios, there are people liking my Lookbook!
Hope you like it too.
And have I told you how easy it is to create a Lookbook?
Just drag items that you like to the blank page and tadah!
You can just move the pictures, overlap them if you want
and create a brand new Lookbook within minutes!
5. Wall
You can see the different status that I posted on my wall
or the different updates I just added to my page.
The great thing is that all these things can be done easily on the website,
and it doesn’t take long at all to upload those photos into the account.
It’s just like how you frequently update your Twiiter and Facebook, this is just as convenient!
As you know, SheShops.com aims to share your favourite styles with everyone,
so just get your favourite items’ pictures off the internet or from your own album
and upload them to share with your friends,
with tips on how to dress up in your style!
You can find friends using the icon on the left side,
or refer to your friend now if he/she doesn’t have an account.
My account is really new, so do add me as your friend there
if you are interested to take a peek in my wardrobe!
You can add me HERE!
I just took a browse at one of the friends in my list now,
and as I mentioned earlier,
I can actually zoom into the details of what she uploaded in her account,
and all the details are there.
Her closet items.
Woo, now I know that I can get this at Club Monaco!!
And I love clutches too, especially these envelope clutches! Thanks for the tip!
Last but not least, not only can you share your inspirations
and get more inspiration at SheShops.com,
you stand a chance to win awesome prizes!!
They have a contest running now,
and you get a chance to win a COACH MADISON MAGGIE worth over $800!
Let me show you the picture.
