It has been a week since I last updated and pardon me for the short hiatus!
Lask week was a fulfilling one and I managed to catch up with a couple of friends.
Glad to know I have three friends getting hitched this year and I can't wait to witness the moment of their lives.
Not to mention, Rach dear is now in Prague doing her wedding photoshoot with one of the most-talkabout wedding photography companies around! How awesome is that.
The only thing is that the weather is pretty cold there now, but I am sure her pictures will turn out uniquely gorgeous.
I had a lil scare during the weekends by the extreme unfortunate event that happened recently- yes, Japan's tsunami and earthquake.
My worried cousin gave me a call in the early afternoon telling me about the occurrance of the earthquake,
as both of our family members were still in Japan.
Fortunately, they were in Tokyo Airport at that time which was supposedly a safer place as compared to the wider Tokyo region, though they did feel the tremors from the earthquake intermittently throughout the day.
Though I'm really thankful for that and am glad to be living in one of the safest (natural disaster & crime-wise!) countries in the world, I truly empathized how the Japanese are feeling right now.
When the Tsunami happened..
Aftermath.
Moving on to something a little bit more light-hearted, my family members brought back some snacks that they got from the trip.
Here are my favourites!
Green tea Kit kat, love this! Its a must buy if you visit japan.
Tokyo Banana – One of the highly raved snacks too and introduced by poots, yummy yummy.
Pistachio – addictive snack!
Here's my newly created logo for a change! :p
And guess what's up in the online shopping boutiques,
gorgeous dresses lined up for you!
*Satin Toga Glamour dress by Mylittlebow.
*Highly Versatile Rouge Dress from MyLittleBow. Love the gathers at the end!
And something different this week,
We have a new online jewellery boutique that brings to you good quality and exclusive designs.
Here are the two designs that I received and am loving them. weee!

During last mid week I caught up with both Shing and Jo, who used to be my poly classmates.
Had a good catch up over lunch and its amazing that we three haven hung out together for years yet we had endless talks that day.
And oh yes, Shing (the girl in the middle), is one of the three friends who will be getting married this year!
*Whistle*
Myself, Shing and Jo.
Haven been visiting the salon for a good two months. I would tie my hair frequently due to the grassy texture and the frequent tangling of hair strands.
I hate to admit that I look almost similar to a lion head when I let down my hair down, and yes, I needed a cure!
Paid a visit to Salon Vim again this time to find my dedicated stylist John and of course the boss Gary for help,
and got my hair lopped off two inches this time (cuz of the spilt and crumbled ends).
As you can see from the picture above, yes, not only that, I left the salon super satisfied with my new hair!
Remember I did a perm the previous time?
Oh yes, I loved the curls but it got pretty unmanageable after a couple of weeks.
Well I would blame that to my laziness of applying the essential products or taking good care of my hair,
and of course, that led to my "grassy" hair!!! Zzzzz.
Here's a shot of my before salon hair.
You can see that the strands are all clumped together in thick bunches, and some of the bunches are near straight, and some are wavy.
But the whole hair texture is stiff and dry, ultra untamed.
John recommended this similar to Soft Rebonding cum Treatment together, so it's sort of like a Two-In-One,
and he also mentioned that its a really good cure for dry hair texture and as well as those who wants to have straight hair too.
Or if you have healthy enough hair, and would like to straighten your hair, I would also recommend you to try out their soft rebonding!
I wouldn't say much except that I am truly loving my hair now, and here's a picture to show you the immediate change.

Weeeeee, again, I love the natural straightness of the treatment and soft rebonding and doesn't it look glossy and healthy now?
Though I have to say if i dyed it to a richer brown, it would look ultra healthy and… perfect! heh.
I am not sure what do you call this recent hair change that I did,
but just mention to JOHN at Salon Vim that you would like to experience the same thing that I did to my hair recently – the soft rebonding cum treatment.
More peeks!
With Mr Hurhur.
On a side note, daddykins is one that tickles me some time. My family and I had a celebration for my sister for her birthday two weeks ago,
and daddykins extended the invitation to Hurhur by asking me to ask him. Probably since the day I introduced hurhur to my family, the name hurhur stays,
and my friends, myself address him as that too.
So in the wassap text that daddykins sent me, he typed " Birthday dinner tonight. Ask HH along".
For a moment, i stood there feeling confused, and then i burst out laughing knowing that daddykins gave him an acronym for the nickname I called him.
P.S: Mr hurhur, you are gonna lose your identity! :p
And by the way folks, there's an interesting competition ongoing right now organised by Salon Vim!
It's the search for the Face of Salon Vim 2011!
I do urge you guys to join and guess what? The winner gets to enjoy free full hair services for a good whole six months!
Why not just join and you never know, you might be the winner!

P.S my hair’s getting crazy and i totally understand how you feel!
Hi Beatrice!
Im loving your new hair! I had curls too and became pretty unmanageable:/
I’ll like to know approximately how much will the same soft rebonding and treatment cost?
Cheers!
Nat
Hi Beatrice,
i will like to ask if u did have the Posie Pumps from Love Bonito? May i know what size r u wearing as nowadays their sizing is different from last time.
I’m having difficult to order their pumps as i dont know what size to take as my shoe size is always size 38 which is 9.5″..but for the Posie Pumps their size 38 is 9.45″, i’m afraid that it will be too small for me.
So i need ur help to let me know what size u normally wear for covered shoes and what size u wear for the Posie Pumps.
I have tried their size 39,which is too big for me as i can insert my index finger inside.
I really like that pair of pumps, but just confuse abt the size as it’s not cheap also.
Thank you,Bea.
Sally Tay
