With TEE Boxx hosting and managing events just for you,
they have in fact, organized an upcoming FLEA MARKET – Gathering of Stars for everyone,
their first ever event right smack at one of the hottest locations in town, the supperclub.

Its not called Gathering of Stars for nothing!
Tee boxx has specially invited star bloggers to go down to the flea to sell their own items too,
and weeee, I bet it would be really cool to see them,
and remember to bring along your cameras to snap a picture or two!

And did i mention to you that they have a common goal?
Which is making each and every event a huge BANG!, together with the best responses and media attraction.

And recently, I am once again hooked on Togas,
i always think toga is a minimalist outfit- a kind that shows but not too much,
and what's great about this piece that Pearlavish gave me is the one shoulder tee.
I kinda like the bandage & drappy part as well.

Other than casual dresses, formal dresses which we will need in our wardrobe.
Black is the classic colour to go ;)

TAIWAN DAY 2 – XIMENDING, WU FEN PU (PART 1)

The three of us have a habit of taking pictures before leaving the hotel each and every day in our Taiwan Trip.
Playing dressing up is one of the highlights of an overseas trip too, don't you agree? :p

Not just that, but exiting the hotel is another hot spot for photos.
I like the way the plants are hanging outside and the alley feel,
it would have been much better if the constructions at the back were done and removed.

Just like the first day, we have to walk to the Ximen Station, which we will pass by all these places…

just by looking at this picture, i know we are nearing the bubble tea shop that I like,
Ching Shin Fu Chuan Tea Station, 清心福全 !

Their normal milk tea is awesome, but if you are a huge fan of milk teas again,
you can try hazelnut or caramel milktea, thumbs up for these two drinks!

I can totally imagine how much calories am i gaining each day,
We wanted to just have a lunch, and remember the other bubble tea chain (50嵐 which is KOI in Sg?),
we spotted that shop finally in the ximending maze of shops after trying to locate it since we touched down in Taiwan.
Being the greedy girls, we sure have to get a cup each!

Considering the cup we just had while walking over,
and a second cup within the next half hour.
Gosh, carbs carbs carbs,
I officially concluded that bubble tea is definitely poots and my ultimate all-time-favourite drink.

Look at how excited we were to locate it!

Look at the 34324934923 amount of pearls = carbs!

Our lunch was planned to visit and try the famous Ah Zong Mian Xian,
I bet everyone of you heard of this before,
this mian xian chain is extremely famous in Taiwan and has countless of shops around.

Small bowl for 45 NT = SGD $1.90 only!!!!
Big bowl for 60 NT = SGD $2.60

oh boy, where can we find ultra delicious mian xian at this price around?!

This is the small bowl and its enough for one person generally.
The special part of this mian xian is that they don't use oyster, but cooked with pig intestines (I LOVE IT!!!).

You get to immerse in their culture, :p

Our next plan of the day was to visit WuFenPu 五分埔,
the well-knowned place for wholesale clothes or rather,
clothes at utmost affordable prices.

A tip that many of my friends who came back from Taiwan told me that,
I should visit wu fen pu for the first few days of my trip,
and shop there instead before shopping at the rest of the other areas.
Due to the fact that prices there for clothes are more reasonable,
and other areas sell the same stuff too.

From the research that we have done, we actually took a train to Yong Chun Station to go there.
But apparently, that is a wrong stop to alight!
The correct stop would be Hou shan pi station. (Thanks caleen!)

I guess many people alighted at the wrong stop previously,
so there actually have a useful slip of paper to tell us how to go to Wufenpu from Yong Chun.

Can take either bus 232, 281 or 284.

Did i tell you i prefer taking bus than any other mode of public transport?

And the bus ride there is real affordable, its standardized 15NT = SGD $0.65 for all trips (from what i know),
and the bus ride is really comfortable and properly air-conditioned.
The difference is that we have to pay for the bus ride only when we alight.

Finally we arrived!

I didn't manage to snap a lot of pictures here because we were busy shopping away.
Teehee, spent quite a bit here, but clothes are average about $8-15!
Of course, there will be pricier items which are of better quality.

We spent an hour plus in this shop.

Red couch for shawn to rest and being the Mr Nice, he waited for us to shop :p

Leaving the shop with satisfaction!

Will be back for Rao He Night Market and more!
Stay tuned for the next.

Back in Singapore

I am back from the awesome food and shopping heaven, Taiwan!
& now its back to reality already. heh.

Am gonna do a detailed (as detailed as I can) 7 days 6 nights Taiwan post/s for the next few posts!

*

Met up with the long lost xiaolongbao gang at the week before I left for Taiwan.
One of the coolsome bunch of people to hang out with. :)

Wee and Jess.

Wee just went for exchange to Norway..
Its my last semester already and for the past few semesters,
I have been going school, home, mugging and chilling with Wee for almost every week,
am definitely missing her here in Singapore.

We headed to timbre @ substation for some booze and food on a Thursday night.
Especially when Good Fellas are rocking the night with awesome songs,
the two weeks advance of online booking was worth it.

Nothing beats natural candid shots of happiness!

Busy with the phone while the guys enjoy the live band..

Our dear wilfred (in green) is blissfully in love and we didn't know it until then!

The classy black work dress from Pearlavish that goes well with my grey outerwear and necklace.
It's kinda body hugging but I like it as it shows the waist line and contours of the body. ;)

And a nude (wee i love nude colour!) skirt that is really versatile from them.
Im sure you will love it too! :)

Will be back to blog about my Taiwan Day 1,
so stay tuned!

Seventeen Beach Party

Welcome to my New Blog, folks!

Weeee! This is the new plan for my blog and I am so excited about this!
The website designers/programmers have been working with me patiently over the past few months,
designing the feel of the blog, and customizing my needs for blogging at this new domain.

I love the simplicity design and colours of the blog layout,
and I hope you like it too. :p

I have so much more to share about the different functions of the blog,
but I will do so when I get back to Singapore next week.

YES,  GUESS WHAT?!
I am in Taiwan right now!

This is a picture of us, just touched down in Taipei and finally found our way to the hotel.

When I am back, I aim to do a full taiwan itinerary.
Hopefully to provide a bit of help to those of you who are visiting Taiwan soon too. ;)

And its Majolica Majorca Time once again,
which also means they have a new product launched!

MJ has a new chapter – Chapter 27: Blooming Dreamer!
We had a gathering at 10,000 angels restaurant at Plaza Singapura for the chapter launch.
Let me show you the new products from this chapter..

Just like an organizer,
the MJ ambassadors received a small lil “book” which comes in handy for girls to bring around,
slotting this into any mini compartment of the handbag.

I have been using this purple “book” very frequently recently,
and you would love what’s inside of this! What is this purple “book”? I
t is a limited edition eyeshadow palette! (Blooming Dream Eyes in 2 shades)

hehe, eye shadow in the loveliest shade ever,
and I realized though not all girls love pastel shades,
but eye shadow in pastel shades definitely suit Asians and will make your eyes look fresher and livelier.
Do give it a try!

basically, we are supposed to apply the eye shadows by using the top right shade (eye base) first,
followed by the bottom right shade (nuance color) and then the bottom left shade (shadow color).
Lastly, apply the eye gloss at the bottom of eyelids for an anime effect!

At this point, I would like to introduce this girl with superb make up skills!!!
We can get a few tips from her. (thanks to leney who introduced these vids to me!)

We can apply the eye shadow in the similar way as she did to achieve the a perfect finish with the different shades of purple!

I tried a lighter blend, not a fan of too strong eye shadow colour.

With the gorgeous eye  shadow colour,
i figured out I should wear something brighter that has a tinge of  purple and we are going to a BEACH PARTY!!!

US at Sentosa.

Leney came over to my place before we headed out to meet the rest,
and guess what?!

The “book” comes in PINK too,
(I bet you girls have a hard time deciding which to get!) and I love this palette of eye shadow colours too,
definitely will not go wrong!

Since im using purple, leney shall try the pink one.
And plus free make up services (from me hahahaha) for her.

NICE SHOT RIGHT?!

See, on top of free make up services, I
included free photography service for her as well.
She looked so natural here and I think pink eye shadow suits her!!

Other new products in this chapter includes 2 limited edition eyeliners,
(perfect automatic eyeliner in sap spell shade which is a white eyeliner with a tinge of violet,
and flower spell shade which is a black eyeliner with a tinge of violet) and a limited edition mascara in purple shade!

All the new products from this chapter are limited edition,
and I have heard that they are going out of stocks real soon so do get them at your nearest Watsons store!

All dressed up,
we had a gathering at COASTES (one of my favourite chill-out places around) for lunch before going for Seventeen Beach Party.

Love the chill-lax atmosphere

All dressed up in beach wear!

Jarrold looking serious, well, its hard to make food choices here, I love the food there!

Mr How.

My two babes!

Pooty poots :)

Apple-ty and Joseph.

The groupie

Love the fact that we all dressed up and ready to rock the party. Geez

Here comes the delicious foood….

Fish and Chips

Love this! Ceasar salad with huge slices of smoked salmon

Potato Wedges, one of the better wedges around!

Calamaris

Heading over to the beach party at Wavehouse..

We went for the Seventeen Beach Party as Poots had invites for it,
but the scorching weather and limited places to sit around made the afternoon a kind dreadful one.
I bet the guys enjoyed oogling at the seventeen beach babes catwalking at the contest finale there though. :p

In anycase, here are some more summer dresses from The Tinsel Rack (thank you!) that are conveniently worn,
and I love dresses because we do not need to spend so much effort accessorizing,

Lavender dress with embroidery at the bottom that spices up the babydoll frock.

And love the fuschia colour, if you are a fan of these sweet dresses in pastel or rich colours,
you know where to get it ;p

Farewell

TWO MORE DAYS TO TAIWAN!

Anyone has tips to share with me on where should I go?
Hehe, can't wait to explore the four huge night markets and eat, shop, eat, shop eat,
will be bringing my lappy there to upload and blog if possible too. ;)

It will be a one week break before school starts and we're gonna spend national day there too!

*

My internship officially ended back on Friday and the nostalgic feeling is starting to kick in..

Great three months there and an absolute good platform to learn and develop, I would say.
A lot of eye-opener events and made new friends who made these past months meaningful and fruitful. :)

Anyway, brought my camera to the office on the last day to capture some last shots!

The office, My level and the side where i am seated at.

My desk for the 3 months.

My buddy whom I have assisted during these whole months.

Look at what my colleagues, especially Norizan, gave me on my last day of work! (picture on the right)
Am really touched by the effort and sincerity. Here are other lovely colleagues!

Angie :)

Norizan :)

Farewell lunch and desserts!

Had a farewell lunch at Kinki @ custom house (i previously vividly mentioned about it),
and the place has really good japanese food but its kinda on the higher end side.

Would think the best worth to order would be their set lunch,
which was absolutely yummy.

The restaurant

The view from the restaurant

Spicy Salmon Don and Teriyaki Salmon. Love both!

And these two were the highlights of the lunch,
Snow Crab and Sea Urchin (S$30++ & S$56++ respectively for 5 pieces)

The snow crab was a huge disappointment,
and I didn't think it was at all worth it or nice at all,
tasted even worst than normal crab meat, kinda dry. ;/

For the sea urchin,
it was an absolute delight, the texture was great and it melts in your mouth,
Heard sea urchin aint commonly available, thus explains the price of it.

Another lovely colleague, Yizheng ;)

Have received my two new casual sweet dresses from The Velvet Dolls.

Bustier dress, simple with a simple pumps and you are ready to go!

Look at the intricate back design, you can easily adjust the tightness..
And another perfect casual dress from The Velvet Dolls for the weekend!

You will love the various yummy summer colours available for this dress!

Till the next

Ahhhh… busy week preparing for work presentation on Friday.

Had lunch today with two colleagues at this new Japanese Restaurant called Kinki at Customs House, a stone away from the work place.
I was totally blew away by the splendid view sitting by the window seats and boy, after it appeared in the Sunday Times, lunch crowd there was crazy!
We three took a short stroll along the sea and walked over to The Fullerton Bay Hotel (which was officially opened less than a week ago, on 8 july only) to take a look,
and i am truly amazed, definitely doesn't at all feel like I am in Singapore.

On a side note, i wanna go to Marina Bay Sands!!
Looking at all the pictures just make me wanna go up and take a dip in the pool, tanning at the seemed-like comfy tanning beds.

Received my new prettayyy dress from Megagamie,
Coral is definitely one of my favourite summer colours.

Pump it up in the simplest way is more than enough,
the colour and design just stood out on its own.

Oh yes, if you realised, Imma ENORMOUS fan of high-waisted everything,
so hard to choose from the 3 colours Megagamie offers as well and decided to go with Khaki since i have too much black in my wardrobe.

A short post before I head to bed, and here's a sneak on what I am writing next…

Jacuzzing with a beautiful view

Red and Black, as simple as it is.

Cute Little Asahi(s), nuff said.

The dark family.
