I met the entire clique of Hurhur's friends today as they came forward for a birthday celebration at the Roof Top of a condo around town!

Anyway, YES, i suppose you can guess what was the main topic of the night – GE 2011,
and I cast my first ever vote today like everybody else, and my area belongs to the Marine Parade GRC, which PAP won, with Goh Chok Tong spearheading it.
It's a pity Nicole Seah didn't get in, and I'm not sure of whether Tin Pei Ling would be a good choice for MP….

Well, it's over and there's 5 years to work and prove,
i hope the PAP will make sure the votes they have received are worth while because I can see that it will be a challenging and interesting election in another 5 years time..
This is just the start.

Glad to be one of her bridesmaid and my first ever time too, I can't wait to witness her walking down the aisle tonight with Bryan for the time of her life.

Grrrrr… I have spent much of my earnings on shopping and I almost leave the shop with at least one thing everytime.
Momsie has been nagging at me for having gazillion stuff in my room, and that there's no space for her to walk in at all.
Sounds exaggerating, but its true….

GOODNIGHT WORLD!

The long weekend last week flew by in a jiffy, and I meant real jiffy.

I suppose many of you guys share the same thoughts, and its amazing , ok maybe alarming, to know how time just zoomed while you are in the workforce,
and by the time you know it, its the weekends, and then a Monday all over again.
Welcome to the workforce, bea. I bet you are gonna say that!

Being officially employed, now I truly understand experience how precious weekends are (can't compare times during internship though),
so its time to fully recharge and do things that you look forward to.

I spent the long weekend having a golf practice with hurhur & Jus, a crab feasting session at my usual crab house (love their salted egg crab, definitely one of the best!),
and did some errands. It's a perfect time to catch up with an old friend once again during lunch after golf, and this time round, lunch was at MACS!
I can never ever say no to spicy nuggets and seaweed shaker fries, sinful, ugh!

Today was a simple but hilarious evening.

Hurhur drives, but economically, it would be much more worth while to get a bicycle to cycle to work and he did!
Yes, many of his friends/my friends will pause and go "what?!" whenever we all parted ways and the question on how are you gonna get home came.

It's funny but nice, definitely supporting that idea, parking in town one day will definitely cost you at least $10 a day.
That's helluva lot of savings for a month and months!

At times after work, we would head back to his place for dinner, and he would cycle us back to his place.
Awwww, you might say, but i know that i am not light to begin with, and the up slope can be quite a challenge!
In the end, I would insist that we walk on up slopes, and cycle down the reverse, quite a good form of exercise eh! hahaha.

The hilarious thing tonight was, the weather was amazingly cooling at night at first, and while we were halfway down the streets,
it started drizzling!!

Here's a shot we took enduring 3 seconds more of rain for keepsake!

Well, strolling (and cycling) down the street during rainy day, (yu zhong shan bu, they say),
who say we didn't try it before?! :p

Being in the corporate world for the first time after graduation, I decided to join the annual JP Morgan Chase Corporate Run!
Joined alone as I couldn't find khakis in the same company to go with, but glad to know that Sandy is joining as well a day before the run.
I can't say how nice it was to see familiar faces whom i know when i did my internship back at UBS. 
People like Lynnette, Anne and Sandy that day, and great job Sandy, lets go for more runs in future!

I have to confess I'm a junkie junk!
And so I've finally decided to have a new segment in the blog soon,
It's in the midst of preparation now and this segment will put my preloved stuff up for grabs!

Well, first thing first, I have to gadgets up in the flea, a lil shopping for you folks!

1) CANON DIGITAL IXUS 870 IS (GOLD)  *SOLD* 

Did i mention how much am I a Canon fan?

Well, I have always been a loyal canon fan when it comes to camera related stuff,
but as you know I have gotten a DSLR from my parents as a birthday pressie so that's basically the one I always bring out albeit the weight is killing me at times!

Apart from the DSLR, my family got this one year old canon for travelling, but due to the massive usage of the DSLR, this goldie is left at home most of the times!
After several thoughts, i decided to let go of this compact goldie and It is in good condition.
Pictures taken with this 10.0 mega pixels canon compact camera is really decent too.
The weight is perfect for a woman's clutch, and of course if the guys don't mind a lil bulge, it's good for a man's pocket nonetheless.

The only thing about it is the two moderately visible scratches on the surface,
but other than that, the rest is of near perfect condition.

So he recently got a new phone for travelling/business and decided to let go of this Nokia E52 which is in a good condition!
I have inspected the phone and yes, i have to agree its near perfect!

How are you, Folks?

It's a brand new week and shout hurray with me!!
Reason being is that its a long weekend week and who doesn't love it? Let's hope the Friday turns out even better than the good Friday.

I'm back to work last Wednesday and pretty much trying to get back the momentum in terms of learning,
and my mentor is off on leave this coming Wed & Thurs, I better all my doubts at work learned up speedily before I'm on my own for the tasks on that two days.
And one of the highlight of work is that, after the first week, I already had a team bonding korean BBQ on a Friday,
and guess what? We are all going BATAM this weekend, 23rd to 24th april!
Cool team, i must say.

A new COOL RED philips headset, generously given by philips!

Love the awfully passionate red colour, and am not sure if its a good thing that they got a stylish designer or not,
because this headphones come in many different yummy set of colours!
I definitely had a hard time deciding which to get, look on and you will see them.

So a couple of us had the privilege to have a casual evening with people from philips,
making new friends, talked about everything, and was introduced to this new creation by them.

Tested it and it works awesome.
Now, i can listen to my music at night to sleep or listen to radio, and best of all, charge my phone at the same time.

It made me pondering about how life is short, and the true meaning of spending time with people you love.
The saying goes around very often, but the exact understanding of the saying is easily forgotten.

I took a lil time off today to have a late lunch with linny at macs.

Collected granny's ashes today and the inner parts of the bones were brownish when they were supposed to be whitish.
We were told it resulted from the fact that granny took a lot of medicine and those were the cause of the change of colour.
It really just seemed like yesterday when granny was still around, a tinge of weirdness to just see granny's picture on the shelve today..

A short entry for today, gonna take a rest for the night and I have to recharge for a work day tomorrow.
It feels better when there are people around, I realised. But the feelings all come whenever I'm alone these few days during late night.
I hate to be this emotional but it will really take a while this time.
I know mom's feeling worst.
